Delivery Driver Thank You Basket
Delivery drivers work hard to carefully deliver our packages and mail to our homes all year long. During the holidays, mail carriers see an increase in packages due to Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and holiday gifts being sent to loved ones. They work longer hours, carry heavy packages, and make a lot more stops.
As someone who does 90% of her shopping online, especially during the holidays, I wanted a way to let our drivers know that we appreciate them and all that they do for us.
We started this tradition last year after seeing someone share it on social media. It’s such a simple way to say thank you to all of the delivery drivers who help make our holiday shopping easier by delivering all of those packages.
Side Note: If you are shopping online this holiday season, make sure you are using Rakuten. It’s my #1 Secret for Saving Money and Earning Cash Back from almost all of my online purchases! You can read more about it here.
How To Make A Thank You Basket For Delivery Drivers
1- Subscribe to my FREE Resource Library and download your Delivery Driver Thank You Printable.
2- I suggest printing it on cardstock and laminating it so that it lasts longer and stands up to harsh winters.
3- Tape your sign to your basket, tote, or somewhere visible. Winters can get pretty harsh here with snow, rain, sleet, and wind so I use a tote like this one that can be covered in order to keep everything dry. I also make sure that I bring it in at night so that the drinks don’t freeze.
4- Fill your basket/tote with drinks, individually packaged snacks, hand sanitizer, wipes, tissues, etc.
5- Place the basket on your front porch or wherever your packages are delivered and watch the smiles of gratitude from your delivery drivers. =)
Ideas For Your Basket
Delivery drivers help make our lives so much easier, especially during the busy holiday season. This simple gesture lets them know how much we care and appreciate all of the extra work that they do.
If you have a Ring Doorbell, you can see their smiles of appreciation and even see them say “thank you” for the kindness that you’ve shown. Some have even been known to do a little dance as they skip away merrily after receiving some holiday cheer.
Such a simple act of giving can truly mean the world to someone; so do your part and help spread kindness and brighten someone’s day.
Love & Blessings,
